Intro

Sweeping views extend from far into the Val d'Anniviers valley to the glistening white four-thousanders, the Bella Tola on the other valley side, and across the Rhone Valley as far as the Vaud and Bernese Alps.

Description

The Vercorin holiday resort is located on the very edge of the Val d'Anniviers valley, on a projecting piece of land over the Rhone Valley. From here a gondola railway makes its way up to the Crêt du Midi; the vantage point right at the edge of the woods.

A challenging mountain hike follows along the ridge to the Roc d'Orzival (Grimentz), with a more simple one leading to the Vallon de Réchy, a natural landscape of national significance, down to La Lé and alongside the Bisse de Vercorin (water channel) back to the village.
