Madulain

Graubünden

The sunny village of Madulain is situated at the idyllic Inn river, far from any hustle and bustle. Even though there’s nothing pretentious about it, it impresses, among other things, with the largest fortress of the upper Engadine, the Guardaval ruins dating from the 13th century.

Summer

Inline skaters, mountainbikers, horse riders and hikers will enjoy the great variety of trails and routes available here, as well as an unforgettable alpine experience offered by the legendary Es-cha mountain hut at the foot of the Piz Kesch, boasting a proud weathered look and a fantastic view. Some of the most impressive routes pass by here. And if the entries in the guest book are to be believed, it keeps the promise of the house advertisement: «Safety in the storm».
