This is a paradise in summer for Mountain biking, horse riding and hiking with 24 cable cars, 380km MTB trails, 800km hiking trails and just 1 lift pass!
Well-being and revitalisation are guaranteed with the peace that reigns on the alpine pastures and by the mountains lakes (Taney, Salanfe, Lac Vert, Lacs d'Antème), on the hiking tour of the Dents-du-Midi or the Dents Blanches, or at the thermal baths of Val-d'Illiez and Lavey-les-Bains. This region appeals to children as much as it does to adults due to its leisure parks, educational and thematic trails and animal parks. Add to this the countless historical, cultural and natural sites to be discovered within a circle of 35 km. Culture lovers should not miss the historic town of St-Maurice. Monthey is the place for an evening out at the theatre or for shopping and Le Bouveret and St-Gingoph ideal for lakeside & water sports, a cruise on Upper Lake Geneva and culinary specialities from the Lake. The new mountain bike land invites summer visitors to Portes du Soleil to cross the border into France.
