Bernese Oberland

The aerial cable car takes passengers from Erlenbach in the Simmen Valley to Stockhorn, and the few meters to the northern part of the peak can comfortably be traversed via a wheelchair-accessible tunnel. The famous Stockhorn Eyes, two artificial holes in the rock face, enable visitors to enjoy a breathtaking view of Aare Valley and Mittelland.

The mountain lakes Oberstocken Lake and Hinterstocken Lake lie slightly below the peak. The adventure trail "Habitats on and near Stockhorn", which is located at the mid-station of Chrindi and was opened in 2003, leads visitors around the lakes and imparts knowledge about the complex relationships and connections in the Stockhorn habitat. Further activities include hiking, Nordic walking, climbing, fishing, paragliding and bungee jumping.
