This moated castle on a small hill in the Rhone plain south-west of Sierre was built in 1949 to provide a water supply for the vineyards. The building is made of stone blocks, with an eight metre square tower, giving the castle a medieval appearance. Now guests are able to stay the night here in the heart of the wine-growing region, in bedrooms named after five different grape varieties.
