In the old village centre of Andeer, full of beautiful old houses, is the dairy, or "Stizun da Latg", as it is called in Rhaeto-Romansch. Every year, five local farmers deliver 400,000 litres of organic milk which is made into cream, butter and various sorts of cheese using traditional methods. Some of the produce is even exported to the USA.
