Romooser wood charcoal

If you go for a walk through the extensive Napfgebiet area, you'll come across charcoal kilns in the woods belonging to the community of Romoos, that are filled up and burnt in the spring and through to autumn. The charcoal-burners of Romoos are the last in Switzerland to continue with this ancient trade as a sideline for the alpine farmers. Romoos charcoal can be found in all branches of OTTO.
