Fossil hunting on Klopfplatz

2 hours guided tour. In the Dinosaur Centre: How this prehistoric beast was discovered here in 1961, and why it became extinct 65 million years ago. Later on, bring your own hammer and chisel to Klopfplatz at the clay pit, to hunt for the ammonites and shells that bear witness to a time when the Aargau Jura Nature Reserve was completely covered by water.
