There is a very special charm to a guided tour of this disused iron mine. It gives you an impressive idea of what day-to-day life was like underground for the miners at that time. On the tour, some of it by underground narrow-gauge railway, visitors can learn lots about the history and economic importance of the Gonzen mine over the last 2000 years. The restaurant and museum by the entrance are worth a visit.
