Description
The main focus is the Herznach mine, where ore was extracted from 1937 to 1967. The "Ueker Weichlen" prospecting site and the Summerhalde "bean ore " (iron ore) deposits in Zeihen also bear witness to the region's history. The complete route (14 km) takes about three and a half hours.
