Description
Wattenwil - Burgistein - Riggisberg - Mättiwil - Rüeggisberg - Wislisau - Elisried - Schwarzenburg
Always following the brown signs of the Jakobsweg, the route first
climbs up from Wattenwil to Burgistein and then on to Riggisberg. The
scene is one of open country with wide fields. The path continues to
climb gently up to Rüeggisberg. Then you go down past the monastery
buildings to the Schwarzwassergraben. On the other side of the valley,
a short but steep climb takes you up to a high plateau. You carry on
walking westwards and eventually reach the regional capital of
Schwarzenburg.
