Description
The Stock trail leads through a landscape of Mediterranean-type steppe up to the legendary Devil’s Bridge (Teufelsbrücke). This bridge spans the deep canyon of the Feschel stream. At the idyllic hamlets of Rotafen and Lichten the barns and silos remind us of our ancestors. The satellite station of Brentjong, which boasts a futuristic design, brings one back to the modern age. Through vineyards the hike leads down to the medieval village of Leuk.
