Description
The trail takes you through the municipality of Buchholterberg, into the Aare valley from the wide, glacier-formed back and into the heart of the Oberemmen valley, cut over time by flowing water. A panorama extending from the Jura to the Alps. Harnessed for intensive agronomic use, the plains lie opposite to gorges cut into the conglomerate and sandstone. Steffisburg – Heimenschwand – Röthenbach; Walking time: 4 hours 30 mins.
