Description
Leuk Railway Station - Satellite Ground Station Brentjong – Thel Chapel – Guttet – Feschel – Jelzinen.
The path to the famous “ex voto” pilgrimage chapel of Thel leads through the forest fire area above Leuk. In 2003 thousands of trees and bushes fell victim to the fire. In the heart of the Sonnenberg Mountains, in Guttet-Feschel, hikers enjoy a magnificent view over the Rhone Valley. From Feschel the trail leads on the sunny side of the Valais to the mountain village of Jelzinen.
