Description
Thusis Railway Station - Sils - Ehrenfels Castle - Hohen Rätien Castle – Suspension Bridge Traversiner Steg (Bridge) – the center of Viamala, Kiosk - Suspension Bridge Punt da Suransuns - Cultira Davora - Reischen – Zilli.
The hike takes you from Thusis to Sils via the railway viaduct and the Silser path. After you pass by the church on the right hand side, the hiking trail leads past Ehrenfels Castle to the Hohen Rätien Castle fortifications. Hiking along the gorge you will reach Traversiner Steg, a stunning suspension bridge across the abyss of the Traversinertobel. After three hours you will reach the center of the Viamala at the Kiosk. The tour continues to Zillis via another suspension bridge, the Punt da Suransuns. After hiking on a variety of interesting trails you will reach Reischen and your destination, Zillis. A visit to the Church of St. Martin is worth your while.
