Museo Vela

Set in an extensive park that is open to the public. The museum was bequeathed to the Swiss Federation in 1892 by the painter Spartaco Vela, son of the more well-known Vincenzo Vela, one of the most famous European sculptors of the 19th century, together with the collections it houses. The building was altered in 1997–2001 by Mario Botta.
