Charmey is in the Greyerzerland, or Greyerz Region, on the Jaun Pass Road, which leads to the Simmen Valley. The gondola train was built in 1995. It ascends 740 meters from the rear rim of the village of Charmey.
At the mid-station you will find a large fixed-rope park, where high up in the trees a variety of facilities and courses await adventurers.
Others may prefer to rush down the mountain with the Grass- Trotinett. On the peak there are two nature trails, which tell hikers about the region’s flora and fauna. One can also visit the Châlet, which is covered with wooden shingles (Bardots. Here cheesemaking takes place. Come and see the traditional Greyerz Cheese prepared over a wood fire.

Charmey is located in Freiburger Land. Take the bus from Boltigen in the Simmen Valley via the Jaun Pass to Charmey. Drivers take the Bulle exit on the Autobahn Bern/Fribourg - Vevey and branch off after Bulle in the direction of Broc/Charmey. Or they drive via the Jaun Pass.Sunset:
