On an idyllic hill north of Schwarzenburg. Known for its panorama of the Schwarzenburg region and the Alps, their foothills and as far as the Jura. This makes the church a popular place for weddings. The large organ is unusual: Wahlern was the first country church around Bern to receive an organ built by the organ-builder Viktor Bosshard in 1758. It has been restored several times since.
