Description
Grandvillard in the Intyamon valley (Gruyère region) is listed in the Swiss Inventory of Sites Worth Protecting, ISOS. The circular tour starts at the Pic Vert restaurant, and the route then takes you past grainstores, mills, slaughterhouses and tanneries. Fourteen buildings in total give an insight into agricultural architecture from the 16th to the 20th century. A brochure and a map of the village are available from the municipal office.
The careful planning of a tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
