Description
A cultural trail through the former "granary" of Valais: from Leuk via Erschmatt – Jeizinen to Gampel and along the Path of the Dead and the Church in the valley back to Leuk-Susten. The most interesting structure along the way is the "High Bridge" dating from the 16th century, which spans the Feschelbach at a height of 100 m between Leuk and Erschmatt. Guided tours taking several days can be booked through the "Abenteuerwandern (Adventure Walking)" organisation.
The careful planning of a tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Your intended trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
