Views of the Pfyn Forest

From the terrace in front of the church in Varen, you can look out over the fast flowing Rhone and the whole of the Pfyn (Finges) Forest. Opposite is the Pfynberg, the steep, wooded slope down from the Gorwetsch peak. Another good look-out point is the round hill just beside the church.
