View of the Val Müstair

Lü is perched on a sunny terrace above the Münster valley. Only about 70 people live in this oasis of peace (the access road ends in a small car-park outside the village). Lü is a secret treasure for botanists and plant-lovers. In the marshy area near the village, you find rare species of orchid, figworts, hyacinths and medicinal plants – with hundreds of butterflies swarming all over them. Paradise indeed.
