Saint-Cergue (Lake Geneva Region)
The Jura village of Saint-Cergue (1041 m), in the foothills of the Jura high above Lake Geneva, enjoys wonderfully wide views of the Savoy Alps as far as Mont Blanc. The sunlit woods and high alpine meadows of the Jura in the Vaud Jura Park and the impressive peak of La Dôle are ideal for long walks. In winter, the Vaud Jura is a paradise for cross-country skiers.
Sainte-Croix / Les Rasses (Lake Geneva Region)
Sainte-Croix / Les Rasses lies on a protected sunny terrace (1100m) in the middle of the width of the Jura landscape in the Lake Geneva region. The township is world-renowned for its music boxes and nickelodeons. Rambling and cycling in the natural surroundings of the Jura meadows prevail in the summer. In winter, the region is a much-loved cross-country skiing paradise.
Vallorbe (Lake Geneva Region)
In the heart of the Swiss Jura, surrounded by abundant greenery, Vallorbe nestles along the banks of the River Orbe. Near the cliffs of the Mont d'Or and Dent de Vaulion mountains, and only a short 20 minutes from Yverdon-les-Bains, the small town invites you to discover the rich cultural heritage and the spectacular nature.
Vevey (Lake Geneva Region)
Vevey is one of the “Pearls of the Swiss Riviera”. Its lakeside location with breathtaking views of the Alpine panorama, its extraordinarily mild climate, the vineyards, numerous excursion destinations in the region and proud paddlewheel steamers on the lake characterise this town by Lake Geneva.
Villars-sur-Ollon / Gryon (Lake Geneva Region)
Situated at 1300 m, on a sunny south-facing terrace high above the Rhone valley, the holiday resort of Villars-sur-Ollon in the heart of the Vaud Alps enjoys breathtaking views of the Dents-du-Midi and the Mont Blanc massif and as far as Lake Geneva.
Its smaller neighbour Gryon is a little lower down, on the more easterly side of the valley.
