June and July are the months when most plants are in bloom, but some rarities are in flower until the end of September. Signs indicate the names of the plants in German and in the original Latin, and whether they are medicinal or poisonous plants. In the "Medicinal Plant Garden of Alfred Vogel" you are introduced to the plants which are used in modern natural healing.
How to get there:
A few minutes walk on a flat footpath from the summit station of the Schatzalp railway past the Hotel Schatzalp.
Opening hours:
Daily from end of May to end of September, 9 am to 5 pm.
Location:
The botanical garden is located above the Schatzalp mountain station (approx. 5 min. walk).
