Lake Ägeri

Today it is much more peaceful here as day trippers cross the tranquil lake, restaurants serve the local red chalk fish, and hikers and mountain bikers explore the pre-Alpine landscapes. There are plenty of resting and bathing facilities along the way, such as the Lido in Oberägeri. A round trip can also be combined with a cruise. The existing fleet of three small ships on Lake Ägeri calls at several landing stations around the lake and in addition to the regular scheduled runs from May to October, special excursions are also made. The ships may be hired for special occasions and this includes the beautifully restored historic motorboat accommodating 25 passengers.
