The Trümmelbach Falls are part of the Lauterbrunnen Valley's 72 waterfalls, among them also the imposing Staubbach Falls. The hiking tour on mainly flat land leads from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg, past water gushing from vertical rock faces that are several hundred meters high.
We went through this years ago and I highly recommend it. We want to go back someday. It is truly amazing, a natural wonder. The lift ride is short, but it is in a crowded, pitch-black elevator, so if you're claustrophobic...this might be a challenge, but it is worth it.
My boyfriend and I will be there in a couple weeks for 3 days. This is definitely on my list of places to visit.
My wife and I are off to Lauterbrunen shortly, never been there, only past through on our way to Italy,it looks extremely interesting,we cannot wait!
How didn't I know these waterfalls exist? Definitely on my 'dream-spaces-to-go'-list :)
The article certainly generates interest in the region and beautifully describes the falls. A bit of trek distance details of beautiful trails from nearby main villages would to good to us.
