Blue Balls Festival by the lake: The Blue Balls has become one of the largest music festivals in German-speaking Switzerland, attracting 100,000 visitors over nine days. The ambience around Lucerne's harbour setting with the Open-Air Pavilion, the Culture and Congress Centre and the club in the Hotel Schweizerhof make it unique. The festival presents a total of 100 shows including blues, jazz, soul, funk, world music, rock and pop concerts, music photography and films of the highest international standard.
