Engadine Nut Tart

Poverty once sent many confectioners from the Engadine region into exile, where they often acquired great reputation. Nowadays, they deliver their "Tuorta de Nusch Engiadinaisa" all over the world. It is a highly coveted tart made from short crust and, hiding in its core, a rich and slightly sticky filling made with coarsely chopped walnuts, cream and honey.
