The explosive start off the Lauberhorn shoulder to the classic Lauberhorn course, down to the Hundschopf, the jump into the depths, then further over the Minschkante, Langentrejen, Hanneggschuss, Österreicherloch, the S-goal, and finally with a jump to the goal -- 4.3 km long, a difference in elevation of 1025 meters and almost 3 minutes of pure race time. But what a fantastic 3 minutes! Courage, concentration, condition and ability must agree in order to master the longest racecourse -- and to reach the goal in one piece!
On Sunday the slalom "cracks" start off on the two Innerwengen courses. The Wengen slalom slope, due to its naturalness, is considered one of the most difficult of the alpine world cups.
