Every three years a friendly kind of artist’s home game is held between the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen and the Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen. Organised by the Ministry of Culture, in recent years the exhibition and event has well established itself as popular platform for regional arts from the cantons St. Gallen, Thurgau, Appenzell-Ausserrhoden. Appenzell Innerrhoden, as well as Principality of Liechtenstein and the Vorarlberg region – and in the meanwhile radiates far beyond these regions. During two months, artists gather for an artistic rendezvous and mutual exchange. And the two exhibiting institutions become a brightly lit show window for the vibrant Eastern-Switzerland art scene.
