The Crédit Agricole Suisse Open Gstaad is not only the only ATP tournament on clay played in Switzerland, but it is also unique in the world for its environment. For nearly 100years, the elite of tennis fights for victory in the middle of this charming mountain village, surrounded by cottages and fields.
Stefan Edberg, llie Nastase and Roger Federer have already engraved their names among the winners of the tournament. The biggest player of all time was also awarded his first wildcard on the ATP circuit in Gstaad before becoming world n°1. In 2013 he came back to the Bernese Oberland for the biggest pleasure of the spectators.
