The three-star city hotel, which was fully renovated in 2013, has 30 individually air-conditioned rooms, with parquet floors and designer furniture; some rooms also have a balcony. The hotel enjoys a quiet location in the immediate vicinity of the new cultural centre and is a ten-minute walk from the train station. The in-house grill restaurant serves Ticino specialties and pizza, as well as a fine selection of local wines. Bar and sun terrace.

Getting there

The Hotel Colorado lies in central, yet quiet and sunny location. Individual and first-class service is a high priority for the Bernasconi family, who own and personally manage the hotel. If you arrive by train. We are on the same street as the Railway station, Via Clemente Maraini number 19. Getting out of the Railway station in front of the lake you take a right, a 9 minute walk; or take the public Bus 2 towards Paradiso, or Bus 4 towards Lugano Center. We are at the first stop, named Tassino. Ticket cost CHF 1.80 (may change at any time).
