Description

Lush green, remote moor regions and a meandering stream guarantee natural landscape diversity. Transitional region between the Alps and Emmen valley. The north-facing slope of the Hohgant is the dominant landscape element. Vertical calcerous formations are interspersed with less steep flysch zones. From Schangnau across the Rotmoos into the Innereriz, and then to Linden in the Eriz. Walking time 3 hours 15 mins.
