Description

Zernez – a steep climb to Fuorcla Baselgia (2,945m) – a pleasant ramble across the lake landscape of Macun (2,626m) – and a long descent to Lavin. Demanding, long but rewarding mountain walk on the lake plateau of the Swiss National Park. The walk is 23km in length, has a climb/descent of 1400m. Walking time: 8.5 hours. Varia: Zernez offers the opportunity to get to the treeline (2,200 meters) by taxi.
