Dietfurt - Kengelbach - Krinau - Chapf - Libingen - Bütschwil - Dietfurt

The tour starts in Dietfurt and takes you first across a natural path up towards Gehren. At the Widmis Dairy you begin your descent to Restaurant Löwen. Here is a fork in the road that leads to Krinau. At first the route runs on an asphalt road, later on a gravel path in the direction of the valley up to Krinau. The ascent to the Chapf Mountain starts here. Once you are on the peak you will be rewarded by magnificent views across the regions of Toggenburg and Appenzell and further down as far as the Principality of Liechtenstein. The descent to Libingen is rather tricky. This stretch is steep and at times covered with gravel. Originating from the picturesque town of Libingen the route now runs towards the valley in the direction of Bütschwil. At Bütschwil you want to use the road that takes you back to the Dietfurt Railroad Station.
