Description

The mountain bike tour from Biel via the Twann Mountain to Magglingen and back to Biel is kaleidoscopic and presents myriad scenic highlights. The ascent to the 870-meter Twann Mountain follows trails requiring several different levels of skills. Wide forest trails offering superb views of Lake Biel and the Alpine chain present an almost effortless ascent. On trails that are bumpy with roots you will pass the vacation village of Twannberg and then reach the starting point of the legendary old spa trail. The thrill of schussing down this single trail is one of the tour's high points. And as a special treat, so to speak for -dessert-, the tour program presents the biker with the ultra technical downhill from Magglingen to Biel.
