Predominantly runs of medium difficulty are on the pistes menu in the Diavolezza ski region. And of course a special tidbit for very fit skiers is the 10-km long glacier descent from the Diavolezza mountain station to Morteratsch stop on the Bernina railway line.

The Diavolezza, meaning devil in German, is a big name in mountains and skiing in Upper Engadine. The rocky outcrop high above the Val Bernina is named after a diabolically beautiful woman who is said to have turned the heads of many an Alpine dweller. Today, however, it attracts the sportive with beautiful, scenic and sunny slopes. Highlight is the challenging glacier descent over Pers and the Morteratsch Glacier on secured but non-groomed slopes, as you make your way through this bizarre wilderness of snow and ice.
