The romantic wilderness of the Fjord extends for 13 kilometers and its basin has a sunken valley. The hike continues past castles and the wall of the Schiffenen reservoir lake. A visit to the swamp area of Au Auriedstäg - an amphibian conservation area of national importance on the peak of Kleingurmel - is recommended.
