Sculptures of the solar system planets line the route here, which, as it starts to climb, leads the way to the beautiful Belle-Époque style Hotel Weisshorn. On yet another slight climb, requiring little effort, you then reach the foot of the Pointes de Nava- and open views ahead of Zinal valley; the backdrop of which presenting a chain of four-thousand-and-more meter-high peaks with the Dent Blanche, Zinalrothorn andd Matterhorn amongst them. Prior to this majestic backdrop, the well-prepared path however first runs along a gentle descent of the side valley. And the final leg of this scenic hike leads up a steep zigzag forest trail and over meadows down to your Zinal destination.
