Following the mountain trip to the Moléson a visit to rooftop terrace of the cable car station is worth every minute, as views are phenomenal – extending from the Lake Geneva basin, over the magnificent Montblanc as far the Bernese Alps. And just out front a hiking trail takes you to neighbouring Teysachaux. The ridge hike presents no special difficulties, other than requiring a little more attention on the short but steep climb to the Teysachaux summit - and perhaps the use of your hands. The initial stretch on the descent direction Belle Chaux is pretty steep as well. Replenishing resources is no problem thanks to the welcoming Le Vuipay mountain restaurant, just a hundred meters offside the hiking trail, with specialities including alpine cheeses of own production. Over beautifully scented meadows in bloom and on through cool woodland forests, you then reach your destination, namely the popular Les Paccots holiday resort. Another highly recommended option is walking the additional loop-hike from Belle Chaux to the traditional Buvette (mountain-style catering) Saletta, which takes roughly an hour. From here you then make your way back beneath the Dent de Lys to Grevalla and on to Les Paccots.
