Necki Trail
Overview
Intro
Necki is a legendary character inhabiting the Necker Valley. The Mogelsberger Necki frolics in Wilket; Petri of St. Peterzell swims in the Necker River, but Hemberger Hucky gambols in "Salomon's Tempel," a high moorland. Bobo of Brunnadern has his abode in the ancient Choltobel, and Tibby resides in the ruin of Neutoggenburg near Oberhelfenschwil.
The Necki Trail, a hiking loop, is divided into four stages, which can be shortened if desired. It leads through meadows and forests, over various bridges and footbridges, across brooks and rapids to the most beautiful spots of the area, which so far have been known only to the locals. Discover this magnificent natural paradise, it is still pristine and untouched. Relax at adventure sites, at the five Necki places and follow the adventures of the Necki characters.
