Valley/Starting-point:
Eigergletscher station (2,320 m), by rail from Interlaken Ost via Wengen or Grindelwald and Kleine Scheidegg (2,061 m).
Walk-in
From the Eigergletscher station, follow the Eiger Trail to the grassy
hillock at Wart, and then follow paths up to the start point at 2,400

Descent
Head back to the saddle and then to the south-west, across scree and
slab sections (cairns and fixed ropes) down to the Eigergletscher
station; 45 minutes.
