Impressive water display at the Choleren Gorge

A one-hour walk takes you from the village via Ausserschwand to the Choleren Gorge. Bridges and stairs have been added throughout the 100m long, wild gorge with its beautiful waterfalls, bends, water-mills and erosion-smoothed rock surfaces. It is best to enter at the bottom and explore the gorge starting from there and working your way up - this makes the experience both safer and more beautiful. The Choleren Gorge is open to walkers from May to October.
