From the Küsnacht pier the tour takes you past the Höchhuus, a residential tower from the 14th century, towards Tobel. Other historic buildings on this route are the former Johanniter Order (now a cantonal school) and the reformed church of St. George. Near the Obere Mühle (Upper Mill), which today houses the local history museum, the hiking tour starts at the brook and proceeds to the Küsnachter Tobel and farther on in the direction of Pfannenstil.
