This jewel lies in the middle of the countryside but is no more than 10 minutes away from Frauenfeld and Weinfelden. The "Thurtal" is a small hotel in an idyllic setting, with spacious rooms furnished in the Tuscan style and an exquisite gourmet cuisine with 13 points Gault Millau. Jörn and Rebecca Engelhard have been welcoming guests here since July 2008. They manage the hotel with their small team in an uncomplicated and warmhearted manner, while meeting the highest standards with loving attention to detail.
Location
Directly on the main road between Frauenfeld and Weinfelden. From Zurich: Take the motorway (autobahn) to Frauenfeld and then continue on the motorway in the direction of Weinfelden. Take the exit Eschikofen and turn right immediately onto the country road leading to Eschikofen. After about 1 km you will see the town sign "Eschikofen", and the stately half-timbered house "Thurtal" is located 150 m further on the right-hand side. Coming from Kreuzlingen: Take the motorway leading to Frauenfeld and the exit Müllheim and turn left immediately onto the road to Weinfelden. Take the new motorway on-ramp to Weinfelden and the next exit (Eschikofen) after about 1 km. Continue as described above.
