The Guest House Lago Ritom is located in the Swiss Alps, in the Northern region of Canton Ticino, in the splendid and famous alpine park of the Piora Valley (22 alpine lakes). Our family restaurant offers a warm atmosphere and you will be welcomed as a friend. On the panoramic terrace, you will enjoy the great view on the surrounding alps while tasting our Swiss Italian specialities with a good glass of the local Merlot wine. The bedrooms are simply furnished. Our location is an ideal point of departure for many fascinating hiking and biking excursions in the Piora valley.
Location
Funicular/Cablecar; the restaurant is accessibile on foot in only 20 minutes without any difficulty from the arrival station of the funicular. The departure station of the funicular is located in Piotta; exit on Quinto/Ambri, go in the direction of Piotta, and follow the Ritom funicular sign. By car; Take the A2 Highway, exit on Quinto/Ambri, follow the direction to Altanca, then follow the direction to Lago-Ritom. From, the highway exit it will take you only 15 minutes. By train; On the Milan/Chiasso/Zurich line get off at the Airolo station then take a yellov bus, La Posta, until Piotta station (approx. 10 min. away). Fro, Piotta, follow the Ritom funicular sign.
