Description
La "Residenza Motta", a romantic Ticino house with mediterranean courtyard, is situated in the heart of the charming old town of Locarno near by the Visconti castle and the Piazza Grande.
Location
By foot from the railway station Locarno (10 minutes) Leave the railway station direction Piazza Grande. Cross all the Piazza Grande. Then, you will see the hotel dell¿Angelo. After this hotel, turn right and go up the alleyway Via Motta. After approx. 200 meters, you will find the sign-board of the Residenza Motta on the left side. The reception is in the court yard. By car: Take the motorway-exit Locarno after the tunnel. Drive direction Locarno and you arrive at a big roundabout. Leave this roundabout direction Orselina/Città Vecchia. Turn right after the first red light.Go ahead towards the old town (Città Vecchia). At the food shop Suini the street turns to the right. Important: Go straight on. After only 50 meters you see a fountain at the left side. At your right is the alleyway Via della Motta with our house "Residenza Motta". The reception is in the court yard of the house
