Typical farm village, located between the hill and the Magadino plain. Beautiful vineyards and extensive vegetable cultivation. The hamlet of Medoscio belongs to Cugnasco as well. From up there is a marvelous view of Lake Maggiore and the Magadino plain. Also the idyllic "Monti di Curogna" and "Monti di Ditto" are part of the community of Cugnasco. Very nice hike to "Pizzo Sassariente" and "Cima di Sassello". Of particular interest: in the church of the Madonna "delle Grazie" there are 16th century frescoes. In the little church of Ditto and Curogna there are splendid frescoes from the 15th and 17th centuries (the keys to the two churches can be obtained from the Cugnasco priest).
