Mount Säntis (2502 m) is the symbol of the Lake Constance region. From its peak you have a sweeping view of six countries. Not only is the panoroma endless, but so are the opportunities offered on Mt. Säntis and Schwägalp in summer as well as in winter. On the summit you will find large sun terraces, covered viewing halls, wheelchair accessible mountain hiking trails, efficiently operated panorama restaurants and year-round free-of-charge exhibits. The romantic evening rides by gondola up the mountain, with full-moon buffets and music on each full-moon evening, are a special attraction. The following destinations are located in close proximity of the valley station of the gondola (which operates all year round): the Mountain Hotel Schwägalp, the idyllic Passhöhe Inn, the Alpine cheese-making dairy (which is open to visitors), the nature exploration park, the geological stone park and a vast, excellent network of hiking trails. Mt. Säntis beckons: Come up, the view will amaze you!
