Set in the heart of the city, the great Vallorbe Forge houses the Iron and Railway Museum. This is an exceptional site on the river side, a true tribute to metalworking over the centuries. At he gates of Switzerland, the Pré-Giroud Fort 1939-1945 is built directly into the mountainside. Its mysteries are buried deep under the Jura Mountains.
